Mercedes Woolley is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Utah State University. She earned her BA in Psychology from Smith College in 2020. Over the past two years, she has served as a research coordinator on a clinical trial for misophonia funded by the Misophonia Research Fund. This work ignited her passion for misophonia research, leading to multiple projects aimed at improving the characterization and understanding of this disorder.
In 2023, Mercedes received a soQuiet Misophonia Student Research Grant to support her ongoing work. In addition to her focus on misophonia, Mercedes is broadly interested in exploring individual variability and employing person-centered, data-driven methodologies to develop tailored psychological interventions for diverse clinical presentations.
