Sumeet, along with her colleague, Dr. Todd Handy, are currently the only people on the planet actively researching Misokinisie, an aversive reaction to seeing visual movements and other stimuli.

About The Speaker:
Sumeet Jaswal is a 5th year Cognitive Psychology Ph.D. Candidate at the University of British Columbia. Currently researching human visual attention, with a specific interest in a psychological phenomenon called Misokinisie (hatred of movements) which is currently absent from scientific research.
